Pharmacognosy Lab

The Pharmacognosy Laboratory is dedicated to the study of medicinal plants and natural drug sources. It provides students with hands-on experience in identifying, extracting, and evaluating crude drugs of plant and animal origin. The lab is equipped with microscopes, extraction units, and other necessary instruments for morphological and histological studies.

Students learn the scientific basis of herbal drug formulation, authentication, and standardization, helping them understand the importance of natural products in modern medicine.
