Pharmaceutics Chemistry Lab

Pharmaceutics Chemistry Lab

The Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory is designed to provide students with practical knowledge of the chemical and analytical aspects of drug molecules. Students learn to identify, synthesize, and analyze various pharmaceutical compounds using qualitative and quantitative methods.

Modern instruments such as pH meters, colorimeters, conductivity meters, and digital balances are available for accurate experimentation and analysis. The lab helps students understand drug composition, purity testing, and chemical stability, forming a strong base for pharmaceutical research and development.

Objectives of the Pharmaceutics Chemistry Lab

  • To develop skills in chemical analysis and synthesis of drug compounds.

  • To understand the chemical nature, purity, and stability of pharmaceuticals.

  • To train students in analytical techniques for quality assurance.

  • To promote accuracy, precision, and safety in laboratory work.

Our Focus Areas

  • Analytical and synthetic pharmaceutical chemistry.

  • Identification and purity testing of drugs and excipients.

  • Quantitative estimation and assay of pharmaceutical substances.

  • Development of analytical skills for research and industry applications.
